In 2003 Daryl & Attea Berman bought their first house. Being very nervous and asking their closest friends for advice they put in their very first offer. The same evening the Estate agent contacted Daryl asking him if he could go up by USD 1000 Daryl asked her apprehensively if it would be ok if they kept to their original offer (was very cute in retrospect). Ten minutes later the agent called back saying the offer had been accepted. Daryl & Attea to help them pay their bond and expenses (as they both worked for a church as volunteers) took tenants into their home. Then built a cottage and rented it out. They shortly afterwards moved out of their home into their friends garden flatlet and rented their house out as well. Their next strategic move was to buy another house with the same friends who advised them on their initial purchase. They renovated their new house and rented it and it’s cottages out. Since then they bought three more houses, renovated them and rented them out. Having this experience from both sides of the rental market FNing Real Estates (Fast Negotiating) was established in June 2008. Seeing the property sales market was in a slump they started with rentals initially building up their portfolio of properties and tenants. The company in the first 7 months has grown to such a degree placing FNing estates in more than 15 suburbs and they are getting requests from Cape Town, Durban and other parts of Southern Africa for their services. Speaking to Attea and Daryl you soon get the idea that they are in a mind set that the only barriers that stop people from flourishing and prospering are those that people decide are there even when it’s not the case. Now FNing Real Estates has moved into the Residential Property Sales market, Commercial Property Sales market, Vacant Land Sales and the ever growing and very large Land Development market of South Africa. Having an established network in South Africa of surveyors, Lawyers, Town Planers, Property Developers, Construction Companies, Bond Facilitators, etc FNing Real Estates has the capacity to source the right properties, secure them and set in place the development structure (if needed) for almost any size commercial, industrial or residential development.
